Access 7 Cpin

Proximity transponder reader with keyboard

General device characteristics

The Access 7 Cpin reader by the Finnish company Idesco is destined for transponder (proximity cards) readout. It works at 13,56 MHz frequency and reads Mifare type transponders. The reader cooperates with a bibi system controller (bibi-K12) using a Wiegand interface.
The reader can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The reader is equipped with a keyboard for entering PIN codes.

Identifiers

The Access 7 Cpin reader reads Mifare proximity identifiers. Typically the transponders are made in the form of plastic cards on which it is possible to print a company logo, the employee's photo or other information.

The transponders can also be made in other forms, i.e. a key-fob.
