TUKUnique proximity plastic cardGeneral characteristicsOne of the types of transponders used for user identification in the bibi system are Unique proximity plastic cards. They are thin pieces of white, elastic plastic. Their size is similar to that of a credit card. Sealed inside of the card are an antenna and a microchip. Each card has its unique code which is sent to a reader, when a card is placed in its field.
UNIQUE cards are passive cards (they do not have their own power supply).
Cards made in this fashion can be used as identifiers used by employees. |
